Hey Legend,
How times have changed.
This time of the year always brings back Facebook memories from our travel experiences.
- Tomorrowland in 2015
- Greek Island hopping in 2017
- Snow trip to NZ + Splendour in the Grass
We had some EPIC adventures in our 20s.
These days with two young kids, our July adventures look a little different…
- Projectile vomits
- Poo serpents in the bath
- Trying to find Mrs. Longfoot…
(Mrs. Longfoot is a toy Tyrannosaurus Rex. Clifford once said she had ‘long feet’ – hence the name. She’s been MIA for weeks!)
Life is different. But in a great way.
In my 20s, life was all about music festivals & travel.
Now in my 30s, life is all about family & my mission.
It’s funny how much your values shift as you enter different phases of life. In the moment, you think things will always be as they are. But you are forever changing. Life is forever changing.
One thing that hasn’t changed for me in the last 10 years (and probably never will) is my high value on financial independence & freedom.
It’s been almost 10 years since I purchased my first parcel of shares in the stock market.
This conservative first investment of $5,000 in a listed investment company called ‘AFI’ has now grown into a $83,000 position.
