Hey Legend,

Thank you for your best wishes on the arrival of our beautiful young daughter Florence.

It’s been an incredible first week soaking up lots of new born cuddles (in Daddy’s pouch)!

You know what’s crazy?

I interviewed a Psychic Business Mentor in July last year who predicted (mid-interview) we were going to have a little girl. If you missed this, I made a cool snippet on Instagram (click here to check it out).
In edition #189 of this newsletter, I want to share one of the most powerful wealth principles I’ve ever come across.

It’s simple… but if you really embrace this idea – it will change everything.

It comes from a classic book that has shaped the mindset of countless millionaires and leaders.

It’s a book I’ve re-read many times because of its timeless wisdom.

It’s called,

The Science of Getting Rich

The Science of Getting Rich is more than a book about money – it’s a manual for aligning with the universal laws of abundance.

Wallace D. Wattles first published this masterpiece in 1910, but the ideas in this book are more relevant than ever today.

The interesting thing about Wallace D. Wattles, is that he was a Christian with Socialist views on Wealth Creation.

He believed there was an exact science to getting rich (which is the content of this book), and if you follow the principles outlined, you cannot fail.

He believed in getting wealthy through the creative plane rather than the competitive plane.

People playing wealth games on the competitive plane believe there’s a fixed supply of money/wealth. For you to become rich, you must take something from someone else.

People playing wealth games on the creative plane believe there is an unlimited supply of money/wealth (which there is) – and the pie can be expanded infinitely.

Because there are infinite ways you can create value.

He believed that getting rich isn’t a matter of luck or grinding harder – it’s about thinking and acting in a certain way, aligned with the creative power of the universe.

And my favourite idea from this book – and the one we’re focusing on today is called,

The Impression of Increase

Wattles says:
“The desire for increase is inherent in all nature; it is the fundamental impulse of the universe. All human activities are based on the desire for increase; people are seeking more food, more clothes, better shelter, more luxury, more beauty, more knowledge, more pleasure—increase in something, more life.”
So when you leave people with the impression of increase, you’re giving them a sense that being around you… lifts them. Inspires them. Energizes them. It opens up new possibilities for them.

It’s not about being fake. It’s about being intentional.

So, whether you’re interacting with a client, a colleague or a barista – you become someone who leaves other people feeling better off than you found them.

You make them feel more confident. More seen. And more capable.

You leave a residue of growth in every interaction.

Why does the ‘Impression of Increase’ work?

Let’s dive a little deeper.

Everything is energy.

And money, at its core – is an energetic exchange of value.

So when you carry the energy of increase… people feel it.

They want to be around you. They trust you. They refer business to you. They pay you more. They look to you as a leader.

And this is why people flock to certain brands, speakers, or businesses. Because it’s not just what they do – it’s what they radiate.

So, think about the people in your life who leave you feeling more hopeful, more fired up, more energised.

Those are people you want to invest more time with, right?

And that is what this principle is all about!

Becoming someone whose presence, words and actions uplifts others.

Wealth Is a Byproduct of Increase

Wattles says:
“You must so impress others that they will feel that in associating with you, they are getting increase for themselves.”
In this week’s episode of ‘Money Mastery with Marshy’, I share seven tips to help you practice the impression of increase.

So that you can become someone whose presence uplifts others.
