Hey Friend,
“To have more than you’ve got, become more than you are.”
This is one of my favourite quotes from the legendary Jim Rohn (who was Tony Robbins mentor).
I’ve got a picture of this quote pinned to the cork board in front of me.
When I learned this many moons ago, I realised if I wanted to have more in life – then I simply had to become more.
There’s a simple equation I often share with my clients that takes this further:
BE + DO = HAVE
BE = Your State of Being / Energy
DO = Your Actions / Behaviours / Skillset
HAVE = Your Results / Circumstances
Where, BE + DO are the INPUTS
And, HAVE is the OUTPUT
But what I often tell people, is that two people can do the exact same behaviour (doing) yet experience wildly different results (having).
Why is that?
Because of their state.
If one is operating from a state of FEAR while the other is operating from a state of FAITH – who’s going to experience the greater results?
It becomes obvious.
Your state or the energy you operate from has the biggest impact on your results and your overall experience of life.
Doing is important.
But the old advice of “just do more” isn’t helpful if you’re “doing more” from a state of fear.
With me?
A few weeks back, I went to a personal development event hosted by my friend & Mindset Specialist
Di Russell (she was a direct mentee from Bob Proctor).
